Physiotherapy
As primary health care professionals, physiotherapists combine in-depth knowledge of how the body works with specialized hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose and treat symptoms of illness, injury or disability. With your independence in mind, a physiotherapistʼs goal is to restore, maintain and maximize your strength, function, movement and overall wellbeing. Physiotherapists prescribe personalized therapeutic exercises, and provide essential education about the body, what keeps it from moving well, how to restore mobility and independence, and how to avoid or prevent bodily harm.
Physiotherapists work in partnership with individuals of all ages to break down the barriers to physical function whether that means working with patients pre and post-surgery, helping people come back from illness and chronic disease, sport injury, industrial and motor vehicle accidents and age related conditions. Physiotherapy has proven to be effective in the treatment and management of arthritis, diabetes, stroke and traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and a range of respiratory conditions offering those afflicted with tools and techniques to acquire and maintain an optimum level of function and pain free living.

Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuro-musculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice a manual approach, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventative care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints. Chiropractors use a combination of treatments, all of which are predicated on the specific needs of the individual patient. Chiropractic care may also be used to provide symptomatic relief for patients with chronic conditions and has shown to improve the general well-being of the patient.

Registered Massage Therapy (RMT)
Improve your health naturally. Massage Therapy naturally reduces heart rate, lowers blood pressure, increases circulation and lymph flow, improves range of motion, and decreases stress. Give one hour of your time and in return receive many benefits to your health. Our team works together to help maintain proper balance.

Naturopathy
Naturopathic medicine is a system of primary health care that promotes wellness and prevention of illness or disease. Naturopathic doctors are highly-educated primary care providers who integrate standard medical diagnostics with a broad range of natural therapies. Naturopathic medicine plays an important role in integrative health care, and treatments can be used on their own or together with conventional medicine.
As a distinct system of primary health care, naturopathic medicine addresses the root causes of illness. Naturopathic medicine supports the body’s own healthy ability using treatments and prevention techniques that include acupuncture/Asian medicine, botanical medicine, physical medicine (such as massage and hydrotherapy), clinical nutrition, homeopathic medicine, and lifestyle counseling.

Contemporary Approach to Care
All of our practitioners are trained in the medical contemporary acupuncture model, this will ensure the highest level of communication between all providers, meaning, where one practitioner has left off, for e.g. because a reimbursement model of funding has run out, treatment can continue seamlessly, without any disturbance in care, with another health provider of a different discipline. This revolutionary multi-disciplinary model works together to service you the patient within all reimbursement models while providing the absolute best care. We know that results do not happen overnight. Again, we are dealing with a complex neurological, metabolic, skeletal system. Therefore, changes to one’s health start from the inside out. They occur at a cellular level and are similar to the physiologic effects experienced with weight training, which will take 48-72 hours to re-absorb, re-configure, re-organize and re-calibrate the entire system at a cellular level. Hence the birth of innovative treatment times! Absolute Rehabilitation and Wellness offers a wide selection of treatment times to achieve your goals with longer treatment time intervals to achieve our goals as quickly as possible. Please call for more information on treatment times and fees.
Our innovative treatment times include a 30 minute standard appointment time, a comprehensive 30 minute appointment time, a 30 minute one on one appointment time and a tailored one on one 60 minute plus, to a max of 6 hours, appointment time. We know how precious time is and take that into consideration as some individual’s main complaint is that there is not enough time to seek health or distance may be a limiting factor. After careful consideration we came up with a model that will allow optimal results while optimizing time. Please call for further details.
